  Trouble for Richie?

  so today, after the meeting, one of the elders from my jc walks up to me and my mother and asks if we had time to talk.

  thankfully, i had to get to work, and mom wasn't feeling great.

  we said today wasn't good.. so basiccally he said that he and another brother want to meet with us on wednsday night, after the tms, to "see how things are going".. so here's quandry:.

  Why are honest questions considered apostasy?

  this is why as i was growing up (raised in "the truth") i never asked questions.

  i never understood the birthday issue among other holidays.

  i never asked because i was scared i would be looked at as an apostate or as someone being worn down by the wicked association.

  You've basically described my teenage years. I never wanted to became baptised, but I felt obligated to do so by my parents. So I got baptised when I was about 17 or 18, even though I never had any faith and I always doubted the authority of the "faithful and discreet slave." Needless to say, I never dared to share my doubts and I was always felt forced to keep my feelings to my self. Because I had to be so secretive about my feelings, I never felt like I was one of the Witnesses, but a pretender. I thought that maybe I could go through my entire life pretending, but then I came to that point when I knew that someday I have to leave this religion and live my life (this was partially because of reading Crisis of Conscience and mostly because of experience). Now I know why I was so miserable during my teen years. It was because of this double standard where people who study with Jehovah's Witnesses get a choice, but people like me who were born into this religion don't.

  Assuming that the parent is not the on doing the abuse and it is common knowledge that it is most likely going to be someone close to victim who does the molesting.

  wow, yeah i was looking fr the theocratic ministry school oral review questions and i came across an apostate site!

  the site was www.jehovahs-witness.com and was just fill of retarded apostates!

  they were not only using a domain name and header name that denotes a conection with the actual watchtower society, but where using it to blasphem the jehovah's true organization in order to help people break away.
